Head of Reliable Distributed System Research Unit at Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST), coordinator of some reference AAL projects.

The session will explore how the approach towards the design and deployment of innovative Active and Healthy Ageing (AHA) services has evolved over the years and which could be a strategy for the creation of a successful AHA ecosystem. The session will address such analysis and the consequent proposition plan with the support of a panel of multidisciplinary experts coming from a large spectrum of different AHA stakeholders. Specifically, the workshop will address the relevance of a systemic approach to the innovation based on the impact – by design paradigm as strategic driver to promote innovation adoption and sustainability. During this session, cases studies will be discussed to highlight good practices Key Performance Indicators, giving evidence to the challenges and lessons learnt. Meanwhile, sparkling debate between the panelists and the attendees will be aroused in order to take home shared concrete key pillars promoting a step forward towards the enhancement of the AAL projects impact.
