The Quality end of life project ((http://www.aal-europe.eu/projects/qeol)) is bringing IT to hospice and palliative care, where a major rational so far is “high touch – low tech”. We discovered the need for a consultancy service to help people taking care of persons in hospice situations to identify technology that could help for selected situations. We decided to develop a service along the “AAL ethical dialogue model”. In the workshop we want to present our developments and discuss ethical challenges faced. Together with the workshop participants we want to share our lessons learned and discuss further developments and possible limits of the digitalization of the AAL ethical dialogue.
